Avincis Helicopters

Avincis are a major European helicopter operator based across the continent. The shoot involved capturing aerial footage as well as interview material. The locations required a high degree of safety and awareness as the shoot was on live airfields. Psychic Spies

Psychic Spies was a film project shot in Portsmouth, based on the wartime arrest of a well known psychic for allegedly revealing state secrets. Gemini provided both lighting equipment and power supply to a Victorian fort complex which formed the main location. This involved running cables deep underground and providing safety lighting on set. The rigging required overhead lighting which provided a challange as the set is also a listed building. This resulted in an innovative rigging solution using several points which enabled us to fulfill the lighting brief while maintaining the integrity of the building. David Beckham Green Screen

As part of a major advertising campaign before the world cup, Gemini was selected to provide green screen facilities, on location, in both the UK and Europe. We rigged and lit the greenscreen so that a large number of the England Football team could be filmed, close to their home clubs. Two trips were made to Madrid to record David Beckham, with kit being sourced locally to save transport costs. Embarrassing Bodies

I have been the Gaffer on Embarrassing Bodies for Maverick TV for three years. This well known Channel 4 show has relied on my generator set for its location shoots, including the live transmissions from Newcastle and Manchester. As a super silent set, we are able to situate it within metres of the record site with no problems.
