Avincis are a major European helicopter operator based across the continent. The shoot involved capturing aerial footage as well as interview material. The locations required a high degree of safety and awareness as the shoot was on live airfields. Specialist rigging techniques were used to obtain stunning footage from the cockpit and outside of the aircraft. As part of a major advertising campaign before the world cup, Gemini was selected to provide green screen facilities, on location, in both the UK and Europe. We rigged and lit the greenscreen so that a large number of the England Football team could be filmed, close to their home clubs. Two trips were made to Madrid to record David Beckham, with kit being sourced locally to save transport costs.
